If It Couldn’t Get Any Better, Say Hello To 3D Cakes
Cakes have been coming in all shapes and sizes, various designs and patterns. But, thanks to the increased use of 3D printing the design possibilities are endless.
Dinara Kasko, who is a well renowned pastry chef in Ukraine, has created some very appealing geometric cakes. She is selling her 3D blueprints and recipes so you can make your own crafty cake. The molds are made of food grade silicone; the sphere cake comes in four different pieces and measure 2.3 inches (60×60 millimeters). The mold retails for $43 (about £33 or AU$56).
The baker can fill the molds with whatever flavours you want from chocolate fudge to raspberry jelly. The mold will them give them a delightful 3D shape when you cut into it.
What a great new way for cake lovers to experiment new shapes and flavours.
